If you’re crazy about cats but not that crazy about dandruff, you might consider a Bengal cat. But that doesn’t mean the coat won’t fall off.

Mixed reviews

Some Bengal cat breeders firmly believe that Bengal cats do not shed, while others reluctantly admit that Bengal animals shed, even if minimal. Everything is going to peel off with hair – including your Bengal and you. Bengal cats have soft coats that lie low next to their bodies. Bottom Line: Bengal cats shed less than many other breeds, but they still shed.

Caring for your Bengal cat can be kept to a minimum. Weekly brushing is recommended, but more frequent brushing will increase the bond between you and your Bengal. His breed is known to be affectionate; He will shamelessly accept all the attention you will give him. In particular, this cat will appreciate some extra brushing that will benefit everyone: More brushing means less hair loss, so less hair on furniture and your cat’s grooming. He will indulge in one on one with you every second.

When spillage becomes a problem

Since the Bengal cat is a breed that is not known to have excessive shedding, if it loses more hair than normal, it could sign that something is wrong with your health. The first place to look for the cause is your Bengal cat’s diet. But if you are already feeding him good quality cat food that provides adequate nutrition, anxiety or stress can cause your spotted kitten to peel off more than usual. Think if anything has changed in your cat’s world that would upset or upset them.

Even if you can pinpoint and eliminate the cause of your Bengal’s fear, a visit to the vet is warranted. She may want to prescribe vitamin or another supplement, such as an omega-3 fatty acid, to help keep your cat healthy, improve the condition of her fur, and reduce the amount of dandruff at the same time.

Other minimally rewarded breeds

There are several other options when it comes to minimal shedding of cat breeds. The Devon Rex and Cornish Rex cats have extremely short fur, and it’s curly too. They are known for their minimal spillage. If you love living with a cat but absolutely can’t stand dandruff, then maybe you should consider a Sphynx. Most of them are really hairless, while some have a baby-thin layer of down. Even if you get a Sphynx cat with a tiny amount of peach lint, you will never even know if it is shedding at all. However, you may need to start knitting to keep them dressed in cold weather.
